Crosswalk Art
I’m a big believer in promoting walkable urbanism, places where people can stop relying on expensive cars (which not everyone can afford to own anyway) and walk or bike more. It’s better for the environment, better for our wallets and better for our health. If creative and artistic things like this can make the pedestrian experience more fun and encourage more people to get out of cars and start walking or biking I think it would be a great thing to see more and more artistic crosswalks. I think it’d be fun to be able to paint up a crosswalk like this. We really should see more of this sort of thing, building cities and streets for people, not cars.
